Services
Sold by us, installed by us.
A floor is only as good as its installation. Capital Carpet has installed what it sells since 1988, with our own crews, our own project oversight, and one number to call if anything ever needs attention: (202) 234-5656.
Residential flooring installation
Our residential staff takes time to understand how your household actually lives: high-traffic areas, pets, kids, allergies, budget. Then we match the floor to the life, measure precisely, and install it right the first time. Carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, tile, and rubber and resilient floors.
Hardwood floor installation
Hardwood refinishing (sand and finish)
Dull, scratched hardwood rarely needs replacing. Refinishing takes it back to bare wood and rebuilds the finish so it looks new again.
- Dust barriers and dust-capturing sanders protect your home
- Progressive sanding gets the wood perfectly smooth, the step that makes or breaks the result
- Your choice of finish: gloss level, hardness, and maintenance explained plainly before we start
- Finishes applied to manufacturer spec, with drying times explained before the crew leaves
Custom area rugs
Rugs built to your exact size, material, and edge, a specialty of this house since 1988.
